Wright County Board supports Little Crow Transit Way study

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – After discussion with Representative Dean Urdahl (R-Grove City), the Wright County Board adopted a resolution in support of a study to assess the potential for passenger rail service along the Little Crow Transit Way corridor from Wayzata to Litchfield. Urdahl said if it is economically feasible, the line could eventually extend from Sioux Falls, SD, to Chicago, IL. Urdahl explained that MnDOT is conducting a transportation study, and he wants to make sure that the Little Crow Transit Way corridor, which runs parallel to Highway 12, is part of that study.
