Wright county approves pay increases for elected department heads

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – The Wright County board approved 2.5 percent pay increases for the county attorney, sheriff, and auditor/treasurer Tuesday. All three increases were approved on a 3-2 vote, with commissioners Jack Russek, Rose Thelen, and Elmer Eichelberg in favor, and Board Chair Pat Sawatzke and Commissioner Dick Mattson opposed. The board approved approved no pay increase for commissioners in 2010.
