Winsted to consider $800,000 in lift station improvements


WINSTED, MN – The Winsted City Council work session Tuesday, April 4 includes a discussion about potential lift station improvements at a total cost of about $800,000.

The purchase of three generators is included.

The meeting will start at 5 p.m. in the Lewis Room of city hall, followed by the regular council meeting at 6 p.m. in the council chambers.

    Don’t worry if you have a sewer backup into your basement-the city will just deny responsibility like they have always done in the past. Then they will take the money saved and put it toward their pet projects and just step on the homeowner who won’t get anything for their tax money.
