Winsted Summer Festival fun run/walk is Saturday

Once again this year, there will be a fun run/walk during the Winsted Summer Festival Saturday, Aug. 11.
The run/walk will go around Winsted Lake this year (4.2 miles), and there will also be a 0.5 mile kids’ fun run.

This event is a fundraiser for the Winsted Lake Watershed Association.
The cost is $25 for the run/walk, and $15 for the kids’ run.
On the day of the event (Aug. 11), registration will take place from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at Mill Reserve Park in Winsted, with the 4.2-mile run/walk starting at 10 a.m.
The half-mile kids’ run (12 and under) begins at 11:30 a.m., with awards and drawings taking place at 11:45 a.m.
