Winsted Lake re-opened to motor vehicle traffic

WINSTED, MN – McLeod County Sheriff Scott Rehmann has re-opened Winsted Lake to motor
vehicle traffic effective today, Wednesday, Feb. 20. lce conditions were recently re-evaluated by the
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the decision to re-open the lake was made.
Caution is urged due to a large ice heave/pressure ridge that extends across the
majority of the lake.
