Wind advisory issued for McLeod, Meeker

McLEOD &  MEEKER COUNTIES, MN — Travel conditions will be difficult due to winds that are expected to reach 35 mph, according to an advisory issued by the National Weather Service until Tuesday noon.  Details are as follows:

.A Wind Advisory Is In Effect For Much Of West Central And South
Central Minnesota Through Midnight. This Includes The Communities
Of Hutchinson… Mankato… Montevideo… Redwood Falls… St
James… Willmar… Owatonna And Albert Lea.

Very Strong Northwest Winds Of 25 To 35 Mph Will Continue Through
This Evening. A Few Gusts In Excess Of 50 Mph Are Possible In The
Higher Terrain Near The Buffalo Ridge… Such As Canby… Madison
And Springfield.

A Wind Advisory Means That Winds Of At Least 35 Mph Are Expected.
Winds This Strong Can Make Driving Difficult… Especially For
