It’s easy to see when someone is passionate about their work. Stephanie Martinson practically glimmers with it as she discusses her new venture, Waverly’s Revival Dance Academy.
“Miss Stephanie,” as her students call her, has been dancing her entire life, and teaching for nearly a decade.
She was devastated when the studio she worked for closed last August. “I wasn’t done teaching,” she said. “The ballet program was mine, and I was having fun.”
Soon, Martinson was dreaming of a studio of her own. She eventually found herself poking around in an old red building in downtown Waverly.
