Waverly man injured in crash

BUFFALO, MN – An 82-year-old Waverly man suffered noncritical injuries in a crash around 9:30 a.m. Friday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2000 Toyota Avalon driven by Aaron Leonard, 37, of Buffalo, was northbound on Settlers Parkway in Buffalo and was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse driven by Harvey Foss that was southbound on Wright County Road 34 and attempting to make a left turn onto eastbound Highway 55.

Foss was transported to Buffalo Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Leonard was not injured.

He was wearing his seat belt, while Foss was not, according to the State Patrol.

Buffalo Police Department and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
