WATERTOWN, MAYER, MN – The Thursday, Oct. 22 announcements for Watertown-Mayer High School are as follows:

Food drive starts October 20th and ends November 6th.

A reminder to seniors. If you haven’t completed your senior interview, sign up and schedule one with Marsha.

Attention all sophomores: you will be taking a class field trip to the Guthrie on November 24th. The cost is $25.50. Please give it to Mrs. Czinano.

There will be a boys hockey meeting at MWHS today at about 2:45 until approximately 3:15 to go over tryout procedures and reminders for the season. We will meet in the health room in the C100 area, the first pod by the gyms.

Attentions EVERYONE!

Make sure you don’t miss out on the Halloween party presented by SPLATTER. This event will consist of of pumpkin smashing contest, live music, a dance, haunted hallway, rock band (with grand prize of the rock band kit), a palm reader; tons of food, candy and pop – and all of this for only $5. Check it out next Friday, October 30th starting at 7 p.m. at the community center. Hosted by splatter a group of teens creating sweet stuff to do in Watertown.

The representative form St. Mary’s University will be here on Thursday October 29 at 1:15 pm. Sign up in High School office at least a day before the visit

Wrestlers- Please turn in your salt sales to Mrs. Neaton by this Friday – noon

Attention All Math League Participants:

Every school year students are able to participate in Math League. Math League consists of 6 contest dates where students take a 30-minute exam containing 6 questions. The tests are very challenging and push students to use a wide variety of mathematical and reasoning skills. The number of participants is unlimited. Scores are reported via the Internet. The top 5 scores are combined into a team score and compared to other schools across the state. Cumulative scores for each participant are also tracked throughout the competition season. All High School students are welcome to participate! . Those who have completed Algebra III and higher will be most prepared for the level of mathematics involved in the contests.

The first math league contest will be administered Friday in Mr. Rundell’s room from 7:35-8:05. If you are interested and can’t make it in the morning, stop by Mr. Rundell’s room to sign up for an alternate time or if you have any questions.
