WATERTOWN, MAYER, MN – The Monday, Nov. 23 announcements for Watertown-Mayer High School are as follows:

Congratulations to the cast, orchestra, and crew of “South Pacific” for your superb performances over the weekend. More than 900 people throughly enjoyed the performance, many saying that it was the best musical every produced at Watertown-Mayer. And we all agree with that!

For all youth basketball officials: Freshman and sophomores, please be at the elementary school tonight, November 23rd, at 7 o’clock for referee practice.

Juniors and Seniors please be at the activities building, at 7 o’clock tomorrow night, Nov. 24th, for referee practice There will be an informational meeting for parents and players who are interested in participating in J.O. volleyball this year. The meeting will be at 8:00pm Sunday, November 29th at the Watertown-Mayer Elementary Lunch room. This program will be for girls between the ages of 13-18 years of age. Pick up additional info in Student Services.

The representative from the Army will be here on Nov. 24th during lunch. The representative from the Airforce will be here on December 8th. The representative from Minnesota State University Moorhead will be here on December 17th at 11:15am. Sign up in Student Services at least a day before the visit.

Students are reminded that detention is assigned for coming to school late without a valid excuse as defined in the student handbook. Failure to serve detention will result in being assigned double detention.

Hey students! November is “All About You Month!” Student Council is making it a priority to hear your concerns or suggestions for ways to improve events throughout the year and make the school better in general. Talk to a Student Council member or place a note in the Suggestion Locker to voice your opinions.
