WATERTOWN, MAYER, MN – The Tuesday, Jan. 31 announcements for Watertown-Mayer High School are as follows:

There will be a sophomore class meeting in the PAC during homeroom on

Wednesday to discuss class ring orders

Please be advised that second semester we will issue no credit to students who

exceed the absence limit. This means that upon the forth unexcused or eighth

non-exempt absence, a student will be given lose credit for the course. A

student and their parents will then have the opportunity to appear at an

attendance hearing to appeal the loss of credit.

Congratulations to all of the BPA Members! They did a fantastic job at the

Region competition in Eden Prairie on Friday. A full listing of the results can be

found on the bulletin board outside room 210.

If you are advancing to the state competition, and have not picked up your

permission slip, please stop by Mr. Stohs’ office ASAP!

We will be starting a Homework Help program which will meet on Tuesdays and

Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 after school. Students who would like help with

homework, or a place to do homework are welcome to attend any Tuesday or

Thursday. Homework Help will be held in Ms. Warren’s room on Tuesdays, and

Ms. Brisse’s room on Thursdays.

BPA Members: State permission slips, payments, and torch award activities are

due February 7th! If you cannot go to state, let Ms. Wilkens know asap so that

someone else may have the opportunity to go.
