WATERTOWN, MAYER, MN – The Monday, Jan. 30 announcements for Watertown-Mayer High School are as follows:
Juniors and Seniors interested in taking the ASVAB on Feb. 1st please sign up in
the High School office by January 30, 2012.
Attention Seniors: There will be a Financial Aid night on January 30th at 6:30 in
the PAC. There will be information on how to fill out the FAFSA and answer
questions you may have about Financial Aid
There will be a sophomore class meeting in the PAC during homeroom on
Wednesday to discuss class ring orders
Please be advised that second semester we will issue no credit to students who
exceed the absence limit. This means that upon the forth unexcused or eighth
non-exempt absence, a student will be given lose credit for the course. A
student and their parents will then have the opportunity to appear at an
attendance hearing to appeal the loss of credit.
The varsity gymnastics team extended theri record to 8-1 and their JV record to
9-0.
On JV Erin Sonderup won the Floor and Megan Pillatzke won the vault.
On varsity Erin Sonderup won the bars. Megan McCain was the beam winner.
Caitlin Duske won the Floor and Tina Scanlon was 1st in the All Around.
The girls will have a home meet this Friday against 1st place undefeated
Waconia.
Attention Mock Trial Students: This is a reminder that tonight’s practice is an
inter-squad scrimmage from 7 to 9 in the Media Center. It is a formal round so
you must dress appropriately, and your parents are invited. Let Ms. Sieling know
if you have a conflict.
Congratulations to all of the BPA Members! They did a fantastic job at the
Region competition in Eden Prairie on Friday. A full listing of the results can be
found on the bulletin board outside room 210.
If you are advancing to the state competition, and have not picked up your
permission slip, please stop by Mr. Stohs’ office ASAP!
