W-M girls end HLWW’s season in playoffs

COKATO, MN – In the Section 5AA, South Sub-section championship game Tuesday, the Watertown-Mayer Royals girls basketball team defeated the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers 66-51 at Dassel-Cokato High School.
W-M will now play in the Section 5AA championship game Friday, March 12 at St. Cloud State University against Eden Valley-Watkins at 8 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Class 2A state tournament.
