Howard Lake, MN–Several members of the public are reporting on social media either a shooting or shots being fired heard by or near the Dura Supreme factory in Howard Lake.

The Herald Journal reached out to the city for comment and was told that they are unable at this time to confirm the reports.

Update 1:32 p.m.– the social media posts reporting the situation have now been marked private. And the city has said that the chief of police has given the all clear in the area but that a police presence is still within the vacinity of the factory at this time and will remain.
