Two drivers treated and released after crash on Hwy. 7

HUTCHINSON, MN — Two drivers were treated and released after a broadside accident that took place on Highway 7 near Hutchinson on Christmas Eve, according to the State Patrol.
Yaser Islow, 37, of Hutchinson was driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, pulling out to head west bound near Nickel Avenue, when he was struck broadside by Barbara Schallock, 44, of Montevideo, who was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina. Road conditions were listed as being icy on the accident report.
Both drivers were treated and released. Hutchinson fire and ambulance responded to the scene, as well as the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office.
