Three-vehicle accident at Babcock Avenue injures one Sunday evening

MCLEOD COUNTY –  A three-vehicle accident on Babcock Avenue south of Winsted sent one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries Sunday evening.

The McLeod County  Sheriff’s Office reported it responded to the accident at 6:22 p.m..  Also responding were Winsted Police, Winsted Fire, Lester Prairie Fire, and Ridgeview Ambulance.  The first vehicle was a 2008 Chevrolet Impala, owned by Kati Mitchell, and driven by Victoria Mitchell, age 16, both of Waconia.  Vehicle two was a 2006 Ford Taurus, owned by Raymond Kubista, and driven by Alexis Kubista, age 17, both of Lester Prairie.  Vehicle three was a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta, owned and driven by Ryan Peters, age 28, of Maple Lake. The vehicles were towed.  All drivers and occupant were wearing seatbelts.  The deputies cleared with a Minnesota state accident report.
