Construction progress is being made to the new Winsted City Hall every day. Major projects to start the week of March 3 will be the roof, and the stonework to be added to the upper, outside portion of the center. Greystone Construction is looking forward to the time when the entire building will be enclosed and it will no longer have to worry about inclement weather. Once the building is able to retain heat, interior projects like Sheetrock, and mechanical and electrical work will be completed. Move-in day for city staff is scheduled for the first week in June. Landscaping and the lakefront promenade work will begin as soon as the frost is out of the ground.
