Three Howard Lake men were ‘knighted’ during Good Neighbor Days

HOWARD LAKE, MN – Howard Lake’s own Jeff Amland is the West Wind representative for the St. Paul Winter Carnival, and because of that connection, members of the carnival’s royal family participated in the grande day parade during Good Neighbor Days. After the parade, three Howard Lake men were tracked down by the Winter Carnival clan and “knighted” by the Realm of Boreas for their years of community service. Those men are Mike Main, Dennis Entinger, and Steve Berg. An article about this honor will be in next week’s Herald Journal.
