Three HLWW teachers honored with leadership award

hlHOWARD LAKE, WAVERLY, WINSTED, MN – Three Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted teachers received awards at the 18th annual Leadership in Educational Excellence Awards (LEEA) and recognition ceremony at the St. Cloud Civic Center Oct. 21.

HLWW High School math teacher Wade Moravec, HLWW Middle School music teacher Stephanie Dailey, and HLWW Middle School social studies teacher Travis Eldred were honored with awards at the banquet.

The LEEA banquet and award ceremony provides area school districts the opportunity to recognize outstanding achievement by educators and administrators.
Nearly 450 people attended the event to honor 150 educators who were recognized with a plaque and certificate from the governor of Minnesota. The honorees are nominated by their school or district.

The event is coordinated and sponsored by Resource Training & Solutions, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, and participating school districts.
