I had the privilege of touring and taking photos of the new Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School yesterday. The school looks great and has a lot of character. The gymnasium is gorgeous and the auditorium is impressive! Of course the scenery of the surrounding farm ground is a breath of fresh air and is something, I think, students will enjoy as they sit in their classrooms. The Herald Journal is working on putting together a photo virtual tour of the new school that will be on its web site soon. The new school will open for classes Tuesday, Feb. 19.
