NEW GERMANY, MN – New Germany City Council will consider a resolution regarding fire department officers for 2012 during Tuesday’s meeting.
Also on the agenda is a resolution regarding incompatible offices, which resulted from discussions during the last council meeting.
Other items on the agenda include residents with payment agreements for water bills, posting anniversary committee meetings, and copier purchase proposals.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at city hall.
Wright County board to consider grants, other items

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – Wright County Board will acknowledge a $90,000 Parks & Trails Legacy grant for Roberty Ney Regional Park, and a $50,000 Parks & Trails Legacy grant for the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park during Tuesday’s meeting. The board will also consider two county fair Arts Access and Cultural Heritage grant applications during the meeting.
Other items on the agenda include parks commission appointments, the 2012 jail medical contract with Buffalo Hospital, and a resolution authorizing signatures on a grant contract with the state of Minnesota, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, MN Financial Crimes Task Force, for deputies wages.

Mayer City Council to discuss purchase of trees, other business

Wright County Board to discuss natural resources grant, other items

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – Joe Jacobs of Wright Soil and Water Conservation District will ask the Wright County Board to approve a $104,168 natural resources grant agreement during Tuesday’s meeting.
Other items on the agenda include presentation of a retirement plaque to Don Mleziva, human resources director, introduction of Judge Catherine McPherson, opening of official newspaper bids for 2012, a public hearing regarding the county’s solid waste service charge for 2012, appointments to the planning commission and board of adjustment, and a presentation on community supported agriculture.

Lester Prairie City Council to conduct Truth in Taxation hearing tonight

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – Lester Prairie City Council will conduct the city’s annual Truth in Taxation hearing tonight. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions or comment on the city’s proposed budget and levy for 2012.
Other items on the agenda include a discussion with representatives from T-Mobile, a street turn back project, discussion of 2012 employee wages and benefits, and approval of the 2012 levy and budget. The council will also discuss garbage and recycling rates approved at the last meeting.
