CARVER COUNTY, MN – Carver County provided the following flood update for Monday, April 4:

5. The current information on the Minnesota and Crow Rivers is as follows:
Minnesota River
On the Minnesota River at Jordan the reading is 28.91 ft. with a flood stage in Jordan
of 25 ft.
The Jordan location indicates an approximate 0.02 ft decline since 10:00am this morning.
The current flood forecast from the National Weather Service indicates a crest level for the
Minnesota River at 29.6 ft. (Jordan reading) on or near Sunday April 10th.
Crow River
Mayer Location:
o On the Crow River at Hwy. 7, the reading was 13.41 ft. with a flood stage at
Mayer of 11 ft.
o The Mayer location indicates an approximate 0.07 ft. rise since 10:00am this morning.
Watertown Location (Manual Gauge)
o On the Crow River at the Co. Rd. 10 Bridge, the reading was 12.8 ft.
o The Watertown location indicates an approximate 0.12 ft. rise since 5:15pm
yesterday afternoon.
Delano Location:
o On the Crow River at Delano, the reading was 17.16 ft. with a flood stage at
Delano of 16.5ft.
o The Delano location indicates an approximate 0.09 ft. rise since 10:00am this
morning.
The current flood forecast from the National Weather Service indicates a crest level for the Crow
River at 17.4 ft. (Mayer reading) on or near Thursday April 7th.

WRIGHT COUNTY, MN – Wright County Highway Department announced today County Road 35 (Wolff’s Swamp) is now open between County Road 6 and County Road 7. Water has receded. There was some remaining ice covering, but most has been removed and the rest should disappear soon as a result of the sun’s effect.
