It was great that we filled up the visitors side of the gym! The team fought a hard battle and came up short, but it was not from a lack of effort. The team can hold it's head very high and know that they came within fingers reach of victory. Doing that against the number one seed in the tourney when they were seeded number five is amazing. It is also worth noting that Rogers led ALL of the AAA teams in the state this year for the least amount of points allowed. It wasn't any different against us. We led early in the game and had them scrambling to change their approach to the game. It was a wonderful season girls...sorry to see it end. The number of DC fans rivaled the number of fans from Big Lake and they were the higher seed and had home court advantage. We would love to have more people join us. Let's rock the Buffalo Gym at 6 pm on Saturday... Oh and when you go to church on Sunday...the ones that were at the game will be the people with no voice left after Saturday night. So if we do not try to sing...please forgive us. We plan on cheering until we can't cheer anymore...and then we will still cheer more! They struggled at a few games but all in all they play hard. They have improved so much over the last four years. They are going into play offs at 500....remember a few years ago when they had what was it "two wins".....You girls can be very proud of what you have accomplished.
