It’s official – the original moon landing was fake, pigs can fly, and Brett Favre is a Minnesota Viking.

HUTCHINSON – Winning baseball games begins with good starting pitching, and unfortunately, the Dassel-Cokato Saints did not have that Saturday in Hutchinson when they took on the Huskies to try and work back from the Section 8B loser’s bracket.

The Hutchinson Huskies defeated the Dassel-Cokato Saints 9-5 Aug. 15 during a Section 8 elimination game in Hutchinson, ending DC’s season. Hutchinson went on to beat Delano 7-0 in 12 innings to claim a spot in the Class B state tournament. After losing to Plato in the Section finals, Hutchinson drafted Dan Birkholz and Jordan Danielson of the Saints to come along for their tournament run.
Cokato’s Brett Danielson finished fourth at the Copperman Triathlon, which took place at Copper Harbor, MI Aug. 1. The triathlon included a half-mile swim in the waters of Lake Fanny Hooe, a 23-mile bike ride along the shores of Lake Superior, and a five-mile run.
