South Korean reporter visits Herald Journal

The Herald Journal received a visit Saturday from Casey Herbolsheimer of Winsted and her friend Park Su Jung, who is a reporter from South Korea. The girls were given a tour of the facility and an explanation of newspaper operations. Su Jung noted similarities and differences from her home newspaper. Her home paper has blogs and an online presence. She asked about whether news pictures were altered in Photoshop. Herald Journal does not alter news photos; although we do have fun with guidebook photographs (non-newspaper special sections), and samples of this were shown.  It should be noted that it is Su Jung’s 21st birthday today.  Happy birthday Su Jung!
