Silent Santa toy drive in Howard Lake seeks applicants and donations

HOWARD LAKE, MN – The time has come to help Santa in providing gifts for local boys and girls, disabled adults, and senior citizens in the Howard Lake, Waverly and Winsted areas. The Howard Lake Lions is hosting a breakfast buffet to raise money for families in need Sunday, Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free will donations will be accepted.
The buffet will be at the Howard Lake Lions meeting hall at 625 8th St.in Howard Lake, 2 blocks south of Hwy 12 on Co. Rd 6.
To donate toys to the Silent Santa program, pick up a gift tag for specific gift ideas or drop off donations at Howard Lake City Hall or Citizens State Bank in Waverly.

The deadline for applications is Monday, Dec. 6. The distribution day will be Saturday, Dec. 19, and will also take place at the new Howard Lake Lions Meeting Hall from 10 a.m. -noon .
