Royal boys top Rockford

ROCKFORD, MN – The Watertown-Mayer Royals boys’ basketball team won their second straight game Thursday night, beating the Rockford Rockets 72-66 in non-conference action.
The Royals were led by sophomore Nate Kratch, who had a big night with 36 points to lead all scorers.
Now 3-2 overall, the Royals will play their final game before Christmas Saturday, Dec. 19 when they host the Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles at 7:30 p.m.
