Rockies rally late to blow past Saints

DASSEL – The visiting Rockies broke open a tight game with four runs in the top of the eighth inning en route to a 7-3 victory over the Saints Sunday.

Tyler Zweibohmer was the hard-luck loser, as he gave up just one unearned run through six innings. He gave up four hits and no walks, while striking out nine.

Unfortunately, his teammates could not mount any kind of offense behind him.

Tyler Brandel had three hits for the Saints, while Michael Leffler and Jim Althoff added two each.

Dylan Weber collected his first hit, and first RBI, in a Saints uniform.
