Public hearing regarding plats for assisted living at Howard Lake City Council tonight

HOWARD LAKE, MN – The Howard Lake City Council will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Howard Lake City Hall. A public hearing regarding the preliminary plat and preliminary planned unit development for Terning Trails, outlot A, which is planned to be developed as an “Assisted Living Campus,” eventually including townhomes, a nursing home, apartments, an assisted living facility, and a day care center. The first phase of the project would consist of the day care center and the assisted living facility.
Other items on the agenda include quotes for crack sealing the streets, a grant for emergency alert sirens, a hold harmless agreement with Tim Krueger for removing an old fuel tank from the basement of city hall, and the 2012 wagon train.
Items on the workshop agenda include Memorial Park improvements and a conditional use permit from Wright County Planning and Zoning.
