Co.Rd 6 and hwy 12 always been an accident waiting to happen. Even today, the road looked perfectly dry and clear. Saturday, I went up to “the infamous worst t toad in mn., applied brakes at the old reds, heading east to 6,pumping pedal slowly, and still managed to slide right past 6 south. Is this county’s or state’s problem? Does it take a death?, finally, penny pinching tax payer takers!

Howard Lake, Mn./…US Hwy 12 and Co.Rd 6 to south should be shut down during icy or slick conditions. .. Yes or No?? How many have slid past or almost wrecked because of the way this intersection has not been maintained properly, per conditions of bad weather, or low temperatures where the “ice melt” is ineffective. Write this.. let people tell you what they think of this particular crossing, or more accidents like this are more likely to happen.

Patrick, are you seriously suggesting that US HWY 12 and/or Co. Rd 6 should be shut down during icy or slick conditions?? That is crazy, every time is snows HWY 12 is shut down?? Perhaps a better solution which seems to be a trend in MN, A ROUNDABOUT???
