The Lester Prairie School Board approved hiring Breckenridge superintendent Greg East on a three-year contract at a starting salary of $85,000 Tuesday night. East will take over as superintendent Tuesday, July 1, and outgoing superintendent Joe Miller, who is retiring, will stay on in an advisory capacity until his contract is up in August.
