The Waverly Ambassador Committee is accepting nominations for the Waverly Volunteer(s) of the Year.  Deadline for nominations is June 15.  Nominations must be a Waverly area resident and have volunteered services for the benefit of the Waverly area community and/or its citizens.

Think of the person/persons who gave of themselves continuously, unselfishly, unnoticed, without expecting anything in return.  It may go back years.  This is the person who we, and the community would like to say “Thank You” for all that you have contributed to our community by awarding to the chosen person, the Volunteer of the Year award.

The letter should include: A brief statement as to why this person     should be Waverly Volunteer of the Year, the name of nominee, areas of volunteer service and number of years involved.   Also include the name of the person(s) or organization submitting the nomination.

The award will be given out at the Waverly Daze Coronation, Sunday, July 13th at St. Mary’s Fellowship Hall.
