At Lester Prairie’s July 21 school board meeting, the board approved all-sports pairing with Holy Trinity Winsted for an additional two years bringing the pairing contract through the 2010-11 school year. As part of the agreement, it will be necessary for Holy Trinity to keep current on its financial obligations to Lester Prairie for their half of the pairing expenses. An additional part of the agreement approved by the board, gives LP Athletic Director Scott Fitzsimonds the responsibility of making all of the LP/HT sports decisions related to the sports program including, but not limited to, the uniforms, team locations, etc.
