
DASSEL, MN – Both Dassel and Cokato fire departments and Meeker County deputies responded to a fire today, Feb. 23, Monday, at the Michael and Roxanne Olson residence at 28095 Meeker County State Aid Highway 4. More information about the fire will be in the March 2 Enterprise Dispatch.

DASSEL, MN – Dassel City Council Members were puzzled Tuesday why there are objections to the location of the proposed skate park in the horseshoe pits next to Saints Ball Field. They are making plans to find out what specifically the objections are.

DASSEL, MN – Meeker County Sheriff’s deputies found a Dassel man in a vehicle that was turned on its driver’s side in the ditch early Feb. 14. The vehicle went into the ditch after a rollover accident on 185th Street and 730th Avenue, Dassel.
Michael Paul Keller, 30, of Dassel was arrested for fourth degree driving while intoxicated after he was checked out for injuries by emergency responders from the Hutchinson Ambulance and Dassel Rescue.
DASSEL-COKATO, MN – Charter Commmunications Inc. the cable operating company for both Dassel and Cokato, said Thursday in the Star Tribune that it plans to file a Chapter 11 bankruptcy by April 1. Charter said, however, business operations will continue as usual during the financial restructuring.
DASSEL, MN – Dassel City Council paid $263,000 for steel pieces for the new pedestal water tower, and $31,000 for its control panels last Monday.
