COKATO, MN — A meeting to discuss proposed fire hall plans for Cokato attracted a crowd of about 40 people Monday night at the Cokato City Hall.
Members of the fire department and ambulance were present, along with council members and city officials. A presentation was made of how serious the situation was with lack of space and the existing fire hall.

DASSEL, MN – The Dassel Area Historical Society will host a New England pot roast dinner Thursday, Oct. 2 serving 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Evangelical Covenant Church, Dassel.
Menu includes roast beef, potatoes, vegetables, cole slaw, homemade bread, and dessert.
Tickets are $7.50 adults and $4 children age 3 to 11.
Ticket are available at the DAHS or the church.
COKATO, MN – The Viewfinders Camera Club will meet, with a 25th year celebration, Thursday, Oct. 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cokato Centennial Room. Program will be Ruth Ann Licht, Brugge Belgium International Photo Exhibit.
COKATO, MN – The Cokato City Council set an informational meeting 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at the Cokato City Hall to discuss plans for a new, expanded public safety building (fire barn).
The public is strongly encouraged to attend.
DASSEL, MN – The newly formed Friends of the Dassel Library will meet tonight 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29 at the library in Dassel. New members or visitors are welcome.
COKATO, MN – Hydrant flushing is planned by the city of Cokato Wednesday, Oct. 1 through Friday, Oct. 3. Residents are encouraged to refrain from washing light-colored clothing until the water runs clear after flushing.
