WINSTED, MN – St. John’s Lutheran Church, Winsted will host its annual fall harvest dinner Sunday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m.
The menu includes pork chops, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, and dessert.
A polka worship service at 10 a.m. will be conducted by the Polka Sons of Praise.
Adult take-outs will be in the building behind the church.

The sale is limited to children’s clothing, equipment, toys and maternity clothing.

MONTROSE, MN – Montrose United Methodist Church will host its fall hot dish supper/basket auction featuring music by the Wagon Wheelers Saturday, Oct. 11 in the Montrose Community Center.
An all-you-can eat buffet of appetizers, salads, hot dishes, desserts and beverages will be available from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Music will be provided from 6 to 8 p.m.

HOWARD LAKE, MN – Dassel Public Works Director Dave Scepaniak reported at the city council meeting Monday that someone scooped up one of the rubber crosswalk markers from the middle of Highway 12 and left it in Howard Lake. Howard Lake officials thought it belonged to Cokato. When Cokato officials examined it, they found a “Dassel” sticker on it and the marker was returned, Scepaniak said.
