New housing gets a push in Waverly

WAVERLY, MN – At Tuesday’s Waverly City Council meeting, the council approved a reduction in water access charges (WAC) for homes built in 2013.

The reduction was prompted by Gary Brummer, who is planning to build a few new homes in the Woodland Shores Development soon.

The first house constructed will be eligible for a $500 discount, while the second will receive a $750 discount. Third and subsequent homes are capped at a $1,000 WAC reduction.
