Neighborhood Night Out Aug. 5

Here are National Night Out events scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 5 in local cities:

Howard Lake - The Howard Lake Police Department, along with the Howard Lake Fire Department, is hosting its third annual National Night Out at Lions Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Winsted - The Winsted Police Department will host its fourth annual National Night Out, beginning at 6 p.m. at Westgate Terrace, however all neighborhoods are encouraged to participate.
Waverly - MEADA will host an event at Railroad Park in Waverly from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Waverly Lake Association will also be hosting an event at the Legion Memorial Park from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Lester Prairie - Lester Prairie events are scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m.  The Lester Prairie Police Department is hosting an event at the park 7 p.m.
Montrose - the city will host a block party for the whole town in observance of National Night Out in Montrose’s Lions Park beginning at 6 p.m.
New Germany - NNO will start 6:30 p.m. at the New Germany city hall. There will be a potluck meal. The event will continue until about 8:30 p.m.
