Montrose woman who died in two-vehicle crash identified

MONTROSE, WATERTOWN, MN – Kelly Len Nafus, 28, of Montrose, died Dec. 1 from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash, the Chaska Herald reported.

At 7:47 a.m., Dec. 1, Carver County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a 911 call of a motor vehicle crash on Carver County Road 24 east of Oxford Avenue in Watertown Township.

Nafus was pronounced deceased at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Watertown Fire/Rescue also responded to and assisted at the crash scene. The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting the Carver County Sheriff’s Office in the crash investigation.
