McLEOD COUNTY, MN – McLeod County Sheriff Scott Rehmann has announced the schedule for the 2013 Childprint program. The sheriff’s office will travel to all schools in McLeod County (except Glencoe, which is handled by the Glencoe Police Department) and fingerprinting all kindergarten children. In some schools, sixth grad students will also be printed in order to offer parents a better set of prints for their records.
The sheriff’s office will be sending letters to the parents of all children in grades 1-6 reminding them to update the forms provided. Rehmann noted law enforcement is interested in protecting all children in the county.
