MAYER, MN – The Wednesday, Sept. 11 announcements for Mayer Lutheran High School are as follows:

The Fall Drivers Ed. Class will be held beginning on October 21 thru Nov. 1. Time 3-6 PM @ Mayer LHS.

DS Driving School West will be the instructors. Sign up on-line.

Lunch ala carte offerings: Before you order your lunches for next week, this is what will be on the ala carte menu. If you bring your lunch or if you do not want what is on the Lancer menu this would be your choices.

Monday – Fajita – cost $1.25

Tuesday – Chicken Dumpling Soup & Bread Stick – $2.00

Wednesday – No School – Parent-Tchr. Conferences

Thursday – Corn Dog $1.25

Friday – Italian Dunkers w/sauce $1.00

Auditions for the fall musical will be held next Monday, Sept. 16, Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th. Thank you for your patience. Mr. Berg.

FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES: Please remember the final week of the magazine sale is here. Turn in your magazine orders Friday. We will also take the reach out books as well. Sell, sell, sell!

School Store: Need a change: Get a Pizza made in the morning at the school store, microwave at lunch, share with a friend.

All students interested in the STEM-Robotics Team should attend a short information meeting Friday morning, 7:45, in Mr. Loontjer’s room.

Students interested in participating in the St. John’s University Engineering Challenge this year should talk to Mr. Loontjer.

On Monday, September 16, both juniors/seniors and their parents are invited to attend the College Night meeting held in our Fine Arts Auditorium. This meeting will help parents and students understand what they need to be doing in order to prepare for college. The meeting will be held at 7:00 pm. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Kelzer.

Picture Retake day is Monday, September 23. If you were absent or wish to have retakes, please bring your picture packet back to school and return it to Paulette in the office.

Any students interested in being emcees for the 2013 Homecoming Coronation should tell Mr. Gustin prior to Friday, September 13.

Any songs you would like considered for the 2013 Homecoming dance can be added to the list outside Mr. Gustin’s room.

Lost items: Many times when something is lost or misplaced, if found it will be brought to the office. If you are missing items, please check with Mrs. Jopp.
