Mayer Lutheran High School Nov. 23 announcements

MAYER, MN – The Monday, Nov. 23 announcements for Mayer Lutheran High School are as follows:

Thanksgiving Break – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – NO School. There will be no announcements tomorrow, or the remainder of the week.

Lunch Crispito or Quesadilla – rice – peas – applesauce – No salad bar this week.

Mission Trip Meeting tomorrow morning at 7:30 in room 209.

JV Bowling will go to Lano Lanes after school today for practice.

Chess Practice will be held tomorrow (Tuesday) at 3:00 in Mr. Luecke room.

The Crusader Dance Team will be having a fundraiser at the Pizza Ranch in Waconia tonight from 4:30 -8:00. A portion of the receipts from that entire evening will go to the dance team. Please consider treating your family to a night out and to help the dance team.

Soccer Fans: Reminder of the organizational meeting tonight in the Media Center at 7:00 for Parents and students interested in launching MLHS own Crusader Boys High School Soccer Team for the fall 2010 season. Players must be registered by March 2010 to make this program possible. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please contact Tim Bierbaum for more information.

CHAPERONES NEEDED! On Thursday, December 10th, our 9th graders will be taking their annual trip to the Operation Christmas Child Regional Processing Center (location still to be determined), to help prepare Christmas Gift Shoeboxes for shipment overseas. We will be leaving around 8:15 and returning sometime prior to the end of the school day. We need a total of about 18 chaperones. If you are inviting a student from another school to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, please pick up a guest form in the school office. Complete and return the form to the school office by Monday, Nov. 30.

Do you have a special song you would like played at the Sadie Hawkins Dance? Please write it on the list by either Mr. Gustin, Mr. Strehlke or Mrs. Meier’s door. Deadline is Monday, Nov. 30.

SAT/Crusader Committee PLANNING COMMITTEE for Christmas decorating, Sadies, Snofest Activities and Prom Theme will take place on Monday, November 30 beginning at 4:30 PM. All interested persons are invited to come. I especially need Juniors to make Prom decision. We will meet in Mrs. Meier’s room.

Class Ring Delivery will be on Friday, December 11 before school. You will receive information in the mail concerning your orders.
