MAYER, MN – The Tuesday, Nov. 17 announcements for Mayer Lutheran High School are as follows:

No School Thursday, Nov. 19th, Grade School Visitation Day.

If you are inviting a student from another school to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, please pick up a guest form in the school office. Complete and return the form to the school office by Monday, Nov. 30.

QBKB meets tomorrow morning at 7:30. Details about the MRC KB meet and Christmas Party/Knowledge Master Open will be shared. Try to make it!

SAT/Crusader Committee PLANNING COMMITTEE for Christmas decorating, Sadies, Snofest Activities and Prom Theme will take place on Monday, November 30 beginning at 4:30 PM. All interested persons are invited to come. I especially need Juniors to make Prom decision. We will meet in Mrs. Meier’s room.

Koinonia Annoucements:

1. Leaders meet today in the Media Center.

2. Groups remember to bring your Operation Christmas Child gift as we will be packing your shoeboxes tomorrow.

Mission Trip Participants – Remember we meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 in room 209.

Class Ring Delivery will be on Friday, December 11 before school. You will receive information in the mail concerning your orders.

Mayer LHS Fall Drama presents “OLIVER”. Featuring music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, OLIVER will captivate viewers with robust London charm and beguiling music numbers. Treat yourself and others to an instant favorite by marking your calendars for Oliver! This weekend – November 20-21 7:00 PM and November 22 – 2:00 PM .

Crusader Basketball apparel is being sold again this year by Mr. Boozikee. Plenty of options for players, fans and parents, including an extensive women’s selection. Choices include winter coats, jackets, sweats, hats, backpacks, and fleece. Every item includes the basketball logo embroidery free of charge (name and numbers are extra). see Mr. Boozikee (room 103) for a catalog. Orders will be taken until early December.

SPAGHETTI DINNER—-FRIDAY NOVEMBER 20th POST PROM FUNDRAISER

The Junior class is hosting a spaghetti dinner prior to Oliver, the fall musical, in the MLHS cafeteria from 5-7 p.m. The cost is $5.00 for adults. Six and under are free! We hope to have a great turn out, so please get the word out. In addition, we are asking each junior family to provide 2 dozen cookies or a pan of bars to be served at the dinner. They can be brought to the school on Friday, November 20th. Thank you.

The Crusader Dance Team will be having a fundraiser at the Pizza Ranch in Waconia on Monday night Nov. 23rd from 4:30 -8:00. A portion of the receipts from that entire evening will go to the dance team. Please consider treating your family to a night out and to help the dance team.
