MAYER, MN – The Tuesday, May 1 announcements for Mayer Lutheran High School are as follows:

No School Friday, May 4 – PROM and Grade School Track Meet at MLHS

Lunch: Taco, Fajita, Buffalo Chicken Wrap – Curly Fries – Lettuce Salad – Fruit – Banana or Pumpkin Dessert

10:00 – Chapel – Dean Aurich

4:00 – Boys B Golf @ Winthrop Golf Course – Dismissal 2:20 – leave 2:30

5:00 – Varsity Softball @ Henderson field – bus leaves @ 3:00

5:00 – New Student Interviews

6-9 – Knights Practice

4th Quarter Midterms: Due Wednesday, May 2 by 6:00 PM. SchoolReach call will go out that evening.

BLOOD DRIVE: Wednesday, May 2.

 Worker lists will be provided by Wednesday AM. These students will bring a Planned Absence around.

 Donors need to have teachers sign a ‘permission slip’ for students to donate during the time slot that they sign up for. This is being done in an attempt to keep students from missing class periods in which there is a test. Donor lists and times will be distributed by Wednesday AM.

National Day of Prayer- Meet at the Flag Pole at 8:00 to participate (or in the FA Lobby if weather is uncooperative)

If you have a song request for the Prom dance, please sign up on Mr. Gustin’s office door.

Seniors information for the newspapers will include where you will going after graduation. The name of your college, major etc. If you have not given this information to Mrs. Kelzer please let her know by May 10. Thank you.

KDUZ (1260 AM) will air interviews with Mayer Lutheran’s valedictorian, Sean Bartz, and salutatorian, Jessica Klaustermeier on May 3 at 2:40 PM. The interviews will be archived for a week following the interviews on KDUZ’s website (www.kduz.com).

Current Sophomores and Juniors …..if you signed up with Mrs. Kelzer to take PSEO classes next year, please stop by her office and pick up registration materials. Both Northwestern and MN West are open for enrollment and registration for next fall.

PSEO meeting for both parents and students is Monday, May 14 @ 7:00 p.m.

Seniors: If you have received any scholarship money towards your college expenses next year, please let Mrs. Kelzer know the details….what organization, the amount, etc. She would like to know the details before the awards ceremony on May 20. Thanks.

Juniors this is the last semester to sign up for the College Preparatory Program. Get you applications in soon.
