Mayer Lutheran ‘Fun in the Son’ event attended by hundreds

MAYER, MN – Hundreds of people enjoyed the 3rd annual “Fun in the Son” event that took place at Zion Lutheran Church and School in Mayer Saturday, June 20, the Carver County News reported.

The event featured free food, activities for the kids and other family-friendly fun. A 5K run and a kids 1/2 mile run were also part of the event.

According to the Zion Lutheran Church bulletin, “Fun in the Son” is a “wonderful outreach event where we can all share God’s love with our neighbors.”
