Many made the LP park a reality

Passing through town the other evening after the new fallen snow, there it was – a dream come true. In front of me was what we were dreaming about as we planned and designed this beautiful park. The gazebo and poles shining brightly in all their splendor. I know the city had a small budget for this expense. I soon found out that with the total support of our park board, the talented Holasek workers, and the Lions Club stepping forward by donating $800 towards the project, this beautiful park came to be.
Have you been aware of what the Lions have done for our community?
While at their breakfast the other Sunday, (I hope you were there to support them.) I saw a billboard of all their monetary projects. Their good works show all over town. I appreciate the Lions for stepping forward in making this dream come true.
In John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the Light of the world, whoever follows me will never walk in darkness.”
As we look at the lights shining in our park, may we be reminded of Jesus’ birth. He came for you and for me. Now, let our light shine in our city, our church, our homes, and in our life.
I appreciate everyone who made this dream come true, but most of all, it was Jesus.
God’s blessings to all.
