LP School District to conduct special election Tuesday

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – Lester Prairie Schools will conduct a special election Tuesday, Feb. 11 to fill a previously-declared vacancy on the school board. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Board Member Marc Sebora in 2019. The school board appointed Brian Heimerl to fill the vacancy, and he has been serving in that capacity. However, due to the time remaining in the term, the council was required by law to conduct a special election. Heimerl’s name is the only one on the ballot.

Polls will be open at Lester Prairie City Hall from 5 to 8 p.m.
