LP parents will love Kindergarten-plus

I will be very surprised if Lester Prairie parents don’t love the Kindergarten-plus program proposed for LP school district this fall. The session starts immediately after the noon recess following the regular half-day kindergarten class. Kindergarten-plus is well-rounded and enhances whatever the students learned in the morning. It also makes a seamless day for the kids in the class. At the end of the day, kids can go to Kids Depot for after-school care. Kindergarten-plus is much less of a hassle than having parents or someone else pick up their kids to take them to a day care at a different site after the regular kindergarten class ends. The $150 a month tuition is probably less expensive than day care or a nursery school. Kudos to whomever thought of Kindergarten-plus!
