LP man seriously injured in rollover crash

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – A Lester Prairie man was seriously injured shortly before 6 p.m. July 26 near the intersection of Hwy. 7 and County Rd. 2 in McLeod County when the Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving eastbound collided with a westbound Toyota Sienna, left the roadway, and rolled, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Donald Charlie Eastman, 77, of Lester Prairie, the driver of the Chevrolet, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, according to the State Patrol.

The driver of the Toyota, Kenneth Neil Oberfoell, 48, of Minneapolis, and his passenger, Angela Jessie Oberfoell, 45, 0f Minneapolis, were not injured in the crash.

The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Silver Lake police, fire, and  ambulance, and Allina Ambulance also responded to the scene.
