LP administrator finalist withdraws his application

LESTER PRAIRIE, MN – Lester Prairie City Council had a closed meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, April 4 to meet with Scott Hildebrand, finalist for the city administrator position, to “discuss personal matters and negotiate an employment contract.” However, late that afternoon, Hildebrand withdrew from consideration. During the meeting, the council reviewed and worked on the employee agreement (contract) for the position, but no decisions were made. Consideration will be given to the second-place finalist for the administrator position. The council will likely discuss the matter further during its regular meeting Tuesday, April 9 at 7 p.m.
